I am actively engaged in translating research into policy and practice through projects,
publications, as members in national level committees training programs and dialogue workshops.
An
important area of my work throughout has been translating research into policy and bridging the
science-policy gap. This is effectuated by academic publications and popular writings as also capacity
building of multiple stakeholders.

Policy Advocacy
I served as a member of the drafting committee for the National Water Policy 2021
and the
Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy of India 2021. Currently, I am an expert committee member of
the Climate
Change Program of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and also serve as an
expert committee
member for Global Environment Facility (GEF) projects in the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate
Change,
Government of India.
